Decommissioning Unused Software

System One was able to identify high cost software renewals that could be decommissioned by using other technologies that were already deployed.  We analyze software and find opportunities to decommission or re-purpose the various services and servers. 

One of the biggest cost savings we found was the ability to decommission business on-prem file sharing solutions. Solutions like Lotus’s QuickR that was no longer needed as a file repository were able to be decommissioned by leveraging Office 365 SharePoint sites and Teams. This helped to cut down costs on software that could no longer be used.
